His Word anger confidence discouragement emptiness fear greed guilt insecurity life purpose loneliness money patience procrastination respect

Anger
"Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry." -- James 1:19-20
Your anger can never make things right in God's sight. You should be patient and listen to what the other person has to say first, before you speak. Instead of focusing on how you've been hurt or why you're right, it's better to focus on being patient and loving others. Temper tantrums don't solve anything- but persistent, patient love overcomes everything!

Confidence

Discouragement
"The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!" -- Lamentations 3:23-24
If you feel hopeless, ask God to remind you who he is: the always faithful, always merciful God. Your down feeling won't last forever, but God does. People may turn against you, friends may fail you, and family members may abandon you; but God is faithful. He stands with you and for you. Ask him to help you trust him now- and know that he has something great in store for you in the future.

Emptiness
"In this time of deep need, begin again to help us, as you did in years gone by. Show us your power to save us." -- Habakkuk 3:2
When you feel empty, you can turn to our strong, powerful God. Read the Bible- it's a record of the amazing things he's done, including how he card for people even when they rebelled against him. Whether you've never me God before or you've "outgrown" your childhood Sunday school faith, take another look at Good. He's waiting for you to turn to him so he can fill that empty spot with his peace and joy.

Fear
"I command you- be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." -- Joshua 1:9
There is no reason to fear present or future days, for the Lord shall walk with you and stand beside you. God informs all to be "strong" and reach for that which shall be yours.

Greed
"Those who love money will never have enough...The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it." Ecclesiastes 5:10-11
Wealth does not bring happiness! Do not become obsessed with tangible things, for you will never be satisfied. Seek and finds the treasures that have already been given to you through him. God can help you become content with what you have, rich or poor.
